Our Mission
"Hernando Aero Modelers (H.A.M. R/C)" is a club dedicated to flying radio-controlled aircraft of all types and sizes.
Our members fly everything from small electrics to giant-scale gas powered airplanes, as well as helicopters and quadcopter "drones."
Any decent weather day is like a mini airshow! You'll never know what you'll see in the air at H.A.M. Our club is member driven, and we stay focused on our motto "Fly Safe ... Have Fun!"
We have recently added a track for RC cars and trucks. Our hours show closing times as 5pm but when the last member leaves, the gate is locked. This is usually before noon. As a member, you can use the field anytime.
All members have the gate combination." We strive to build a strong sense of community by providing opportunities for social connection and personal growth.
